1936 – 2015

Pierre Huard, 79 of Rough Waters, husband of Martina (Legacy) Huard passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Albert Huard and Alfreda Couture.

He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  His favorite hobbies were the  wildness camping, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife and eight children: Jeannette (Robert), Claudette (Ronald), Juliette (Denis), Clara (Denis), Lionel (Shandra), Marie (Ricky), Monique (Val)  and Blanche.

Sixteen grandchildren: Alex, Alexis, Bruno, René, Melissa, Mathieu, KC, RJ, Sophie, Jacob, Sonia, Jessica, Sylvie, Chantal, Sébastien and Caroline.  Twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Three brothers: Albert, Alfred and Steven all of Bathurst.

Three sisters: Rose-Marie Couture, Ezela Legacy and Rosanne Holmes all of Bathurst.

He was predeceased by a brother, Léonard and a sister, Thérèse Legacy.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 11:30 am from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.
