1934 - 2016

Bathurst - Mrs. Stella Theriault MacLellan of Duke St., Bathurst, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the age of 81, at the Chaleur regional Hospital,  Bathurst.  Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Camille and Mabel (Power) Pinet.

She was predeceased by her first husband, George Thériault in 1966 and her second husband, Malcolm MacLellan in 1991, and two sisters: Melinda and Florence.

She is survived by two sons: Mark MacLellan (Christine Frenette) of Bathurst and Pastor Steve Theriault (Jeanne d'Arc) of Alberta.  One daughter: Karen Theriault-Knowles (Brent) of Salmon Beach.

Five grandchildren: Stacey, Brooke, Jason, Emily and Andrew; four great-grandchildren:  Jadon, Kaleb, Syana and Alica.

Seven sisters: Marion Reff-Mathew, Linda Derry (Robert), Elise Doucet (Joe), Adeline Robichaud (late Raymond), all from Ontario, Melvina Vienneau (Bill), Jeannette Duguay (late Richard), and Mable Lanteigne (Albert) all of Bathurst.  Two brothers: Roger Pinette (Lil) of Ontario and Norman Pinette (Marie) of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

By her request there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The service will be held at The Evangel Pentecostal Church, 150 Bassin Road, Bathurst, on Friday January 15, 2016 at 2 p.m.

Donations in memory of Stella may be made to a favorite charity.
