1954 - 2016

Bathurst - Ellen Knowles, formerly of Clifton, passed away at the age of 61, on Wednesday February 10, 2016, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Reginald T. and Lois (Scott) Knowles.

Ellen was an avid knitter, she liked to crochet and was a member of the Christ Church Anglican and the church choir in Clifton.

She is survived by a brother, John Knowles (late Debbie) of Cayley, Alta. and a sister, Joan Knowles of Victoria, B.C.

One niece, Sara of Calgary and one nephew, Jackson of Cayley, Alta.

Four aunts: Ella Parkin of Moncton, Barbara Hinton of Bathurst, Viva Hinton of Moncton and Helen Knowles of Janeville.

Several cousins.

The body will rest on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 at 4 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel. 

Donations in memory of Ellen may be made to the Diabetes Association, Christ Church Anglican Fund or a favorite charity.
