1963 - 2016

Beresford - Doug Nevins of Beresford and formerly of Toronto, passed away at the age of 52, on Saturday February 20, 2016, at his residence surrounded by family and friends.

Born in Toronto, he was the son of Mamie (Major) Nevins and the late Patrick Nevins.

He was a Crane Operator in Toronto until his illness and was a member of Union Local 793.

Besides his mother of Toronto, he is survived by his wife, Andrea Malenko; two children: Alexis Malenko-Nevins at home and Matthew Malenko of Toronto.

Two sisters: Claudette Nevins and Maureen Nevins (Joe Crossley) both of Toronto; two nephews: Nigel and Daniel.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from noon until time of funeral mass which will be celebrated at 2 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church, Beresford. 

Donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.
