1947 - 2016

It is with great sadness that her constant companion, Spencer, family and friends announce the passing of Barbara Boyle of Bathurst, at the age of 68, which occurred peacefully on February 29th 2016, at the George Dumont Hospital, Moncton.

Barbara was the daughter of the late Guy and Florence (Fitzgerald) Boyle.

Barbara is the last member of her immediate family.  She leaves to mourn her passing, her aunt, Eunice Boyle; several cousins and close special friends. 

She will be missed by many people whose lives she has touched in her professional career.

Barbara graduated from the Hotel Dieu School of Nursing, Bathurst and later obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Moncton.  During her professional life, she became a leader, role model, confident and inspiration.  Because of her dedication, pride, excellence and love of emergency nursing she excelled within her career, becoming a leader enabling her to mentor, guide, mold and influence many nursing careers.  She was greatly respected and admired by all.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Jimmy, Danny and Beverly.

By request there will be no visitation.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, March 5, 2016 at 11 am from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.
