Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the death of Lise Lorraine Roy, spouse and life partner of Stephen Warren of Lake Mary, Florida, at the age of 34, which occurred on Saturday February 27th, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Besides her spouse, Lise is survived by her mother, Jocelyne; her father, Joe (Cecile Lapointe); her sister, Melanie Roy-Plommer (Joe Roy-Plommer), and one special niece, Cindy.
She will be remembered for her bubbly personality; her capacity for putting light into a dark situation, and for always having a witty remark about everything. She knew how to brighten a room instantly with her smile and personality.
She lived in the States for 10 years, first in Arizona and then in Florida, to be with her very special Steve, whom she thought the world of. She returned to Canada a year ago to focus on her health and to be with her family. She was always talking about her friends from Arizona, and Florida, and she loved them dearly.
She lived with her mother in Bathurst, and she spent her last night out, in the company of her sister, her niece, and her two special cousins, Jennifer and Tanya.
A memorial service will be held at the Elhatton Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 at 2pm with reception to follow.
Family and friends wishing to donate may do so in her name to the Canadian Liver Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of the donor's choice.
