1921 - 2016

Bathurst - Mrs. Rella Trevors, wife of the late Frank Legacy and the late Benson Trevors, passed away on Saturday April 23, 2016, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, after a lengthly illness, at the age of 94.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Sinclair and Ellen (Sargent) Ramsey.

She worked for Zeller's until her retirement.

She is survived by four children:  Dorothy LeBreton (Gordon), Marjorie Legacy and Linda Trevors, all of Bathurst and Danny Legacy of British Colombia.  9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

One brother, Vern Ramsey (Marie) of Sudbury, ON and one sister, Barb Sealy (Elmer) of Miramichi.

Son-in-law, Billy Kenny of Grand Falls and a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Legacy of Moncton.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Jean Kenny and a son, Roderick.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 4 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Donations in memory of Rella may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
