1960-2016

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the death of Paul Stever, which occurred Tuesday July 26, 2016, in Outremont, Québec, at the age of 56.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Gordon et Bernadette (Roy) Stever of Bathurst.

Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters: Linda (Scott Murray) Stever of Lansdowne, ON, Sandra (Gaston Aubé) Stever-Aubé of Dieppe and Louise (Thomas Killoran) Stever of Bathurst.  One brother, André (Nicole Roy) Stever of Dieppe.

Also survived by his nieces and nephews: Francis, Geneviève, Lian, Jacob et Zach,  his god-mother, Noëlla Lagacé, several uncles, aunts and cousins.

He will also be missed by several generations of children at the « Frissons de Colline » Daycare in Outremont, where Paul was an educator for over 30 years and was known under the name of « Pollux »  by those who knew him.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, on Thursday, August 4 2016 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral will be celebrated  at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.   

Donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Mental Health Society or a charity of the donors choice.
