1922 – 2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Thérèse Dimitroff, wife of the late Nicholas Dimitroff, formerly of East Bathurst, which occurred Saturday August 27, 2016 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, after a brief illness, at the age of 94.

Born in Rivière-du-Loup, QC, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Tremblay) Royer.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and left to mourn six children:  Carl (Valerie) of Charlottetown, PEI, Guy (Tessa) of Pasadena, NF, Nicole (Gilles) Chamberland of Petit-Rocher, Olga (Don) Carroll of Bathurst, Gladys (Bev) Groves of Edmundston and Yanina (Greg) Kennah of Guelph, ON.

One daughter-in-law, Sharon Dimitroff of Beresford.

12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

One sister-in-law, Evangeline Gagnon of Four Roads.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sons: an infant son, Karl (1950), Claude (l999) and Earl (2013); one brother, George and a great-great-grandson, Francis Donald (2016). 

The family will receive relatives and friends after 3 p.m. Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m.
