1944-2016
Surrounded by his loving family, Allen Wayne Vick, husband of Florence (Godin) Vick, of Beresford, passed away on October 13th, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 72.
Born in Simonds, NB, he was the son of the late John Clement and Mary (Shaw) Vick.
Besides his wife of 48 years, Allen is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Ann (Cindy) Vick (Dan) of Moncton and his son, Dean Vick (Lynne) of Edmonton AB.
His two grandsons: Christian and Chad.
He is also survived by two sisters: Linda Vick (Jean-Claude Gionet) of Pointe LaNim, NB and Carroll Chedore (Jack) of Campbellton, NB and one brother, David Vick (Colleen Shannon) of Pointe-du-Chêne, NB.
Two sisters-in-law: Germaine Godin and Claudette (Edgar) Vienneau and one brother-in-law, Maurice (Mona) Godin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Allen was predeceased by an infant daughter, Kimberly Ann; his parents-in-law: Albanie and Ernestine (Frenette) Godin and a brother, Conrad.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com) 270 Centre Street, Beresford on Monday, October 17th, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 2 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Nom-de-Jesus Church in Beresford.
