Beresford- Michael Jude Thibodeau of Beresford, husband of Melissa (Vienneau) Thibodeau, passed away on February 14, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, at the age of 58.  Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leonard Thibodeau and the late Agatha (LaPointe) Thibodeau.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Amanda (Chris) Brown of Fredericton.

One son, Evan Thibodeau of Bathurst.

He also leaves to morn, a stepson, Gino Haché (Kathy Couture) of Ontario and a stepdaughter, Sonia Haché (Danny Benoit) of Petit-Rocher.

Two step granddaughters: Alison Rose and Marisa.

Two brothers: Darren Thibodeau (Sandy) of St. Laurent and Dale Thibodeau (Donna Berry) of Bathurst.

Also many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law.

Michael was an avid golfer. He was employed with NB Power as a supervisor at the Belledune power plant.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home.   The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Nom-de-Jésus Church in Beresford.
