Pabineau Falls, NB - It is with great sadnesss that we the family announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Gardiner, a longtime resident of Pabineau Falls, which occurred peacefully on Saturday February 25, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 70.
Bob was born in Toronto, ON, the only child to the late Wilbert and Eleanor (Arseneau) Gardiner.
Bob is survived by his wife, Diane (O'Toole) Gardiner; his son, Mark (Monique Lavigne) of Gloucester Junction and his two beautiful grandchildren, Megan and Mason, whom he loved with all his heart.
A miner most of his life, Bob was a very hard working, respectful, caring and loving man. He loved his family, his friends and life. He also loved the woods and enjoyed spending time at "Camp Big Moose", 4 wheeling with his buddies. He will be sadly missed by one and all.
We appreciate and want to thank friends, doctors, nurses, extra mural and staff for the support, help and kindness we received during this hard time.
As per Bob's request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Also, per his wishes, a celebration of his life will be held later this summer. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
"Rest in Peace Babe"
