James Newton Ruddell of St. Mary's Ave, Bathurst, passed away after a brief illness at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 68.

Born in Guelph, Ontario, he was the son of the late Newton and Marion (Harris) Ruddell.

He is survived by his wife, Marie-Agita (Lagacé) Ruddell.

One son, William Ruddell and one daughter, Barbara Ruddell.

Two step-sons: Bernard Gallagher (Marion) of Bathurst and Donald Dean King (Tina) of Cambridge, Ontario.

Six grandchildren: Jessica, Kristen, Dekota, Wyoming, Orion and Cole.

Two brothers:  Allen and Keith and two sisters:  Kathy and Suzanne all of Ontario.

He was predeceased by a sister, Margo and a brother, Paul.

There will be visitation at the funeral home.
