Nicholas Denys, NB - It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Augustin Haché, of Nicholas Denys, beloved father and husband, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the age of 80.
Born in Free Grant, he was son of the late Alphonse and Priscilla (Godin) Haché.
He is survived by his wife June (Lavere) of 54 years.
His children: Charlene Haché Breton (Pierre) of Vancouver, BC, Darren (Maggie) of Ste-Rosette, Scott of Ottawa, ON, Kelly Haché (Eric) of Robertville and Kim Haché (James) of Bathurst.
Seven grandchildren: Michel (Angela), Kayla (Kyle), Tiffany, Cody, Nicholas, Lindsey, Sean and one great-grandson, Zachary.
Brothers: Leo of Point-Verte, Martial of Lugar, Martin (Rina) of Robertville, Claude (Suzanne) of Ste-Rosette, André of Quebec and Alphonse (Caroll) of Ottawa, ON.
Sisters: Diane of Bathurst and Marie Blanche of Beresford.
He was predeceased by a daughter Darlene and brothers, Gerard, Fr. Yvon, Lucien and Magella.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2 pm from St. Thérèse d'Avila Church, Robertville. Donations in memory of Augustin may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home, (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.
