Bathurst - Mrs. Imelda Arseneau, wife of the late Gérald Arseneau, passed away at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the age of 90.

Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Benoit Frenette and Marie Anne (Aubé) Frenette.

She is survived by her four children: Robert (Jeannine) and  Camille (Gisèle Hachey) all of Bathurst, Janice Duguay (Yves) of Caraquet and Lucille Speiran (Bill) of Berwick, Nova Scotia.

Ten grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews

Imelda was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Marc-André, two sisters Corinne, Antoinine and a brother Roland.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (June 2, 2017) evening from 7-9 pm at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St. George St, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com) and also on Saturday morning from 9 am until time of funeral.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (June 3, 2017) at 11 am from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.
