Middle River, N.-B. - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of our father Timothy Clarance Good, husband of the late Patricia Anne Good, of Middle River, which occurred Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a brief illness at the age of 64.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Percy and May (Good) Good.
Tim joined the military after graduating high school and retired after 35 years as a Chief Warrant Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion. He was president and vice-president for a while. He taught first aid courses up until his illness. He was a great husband, father, uncle and friend. He touched the hearts of many people and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by one son, Steven of Ottawa, Ont., and daughter, Elizabeth (Steven Young) of Halifax, N.S.
Three brothers: John (Bonnie) of Elliot Lake, Ont., Danny (Line) and Blair, both of Bathurst. Four sisters: Kathleen (Wayne) Cole, Bonnie (Daniel) Vienneau, both of Bathurst, Peggy (Pete) Dugas of Ontario, Holly (Will) Hyslop of Fredericton. Several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife Patricia Gardiner, he was pre-deceased by nephews Ricky Vienneau, Kayden Gionet and a niece, Rebecca Cole.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel. Donations in memory of Tim may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
