It is with great sadness the family of Lucien Frenette of Big River, announces his unexpected passing on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 81.
Born in Robertville he was the son of the late Wilfred and Corine (Arseneau) Frenette.
Lucien loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Evangeline (Henry) Frenette of 46 years.
Two daughters and two sons: Lucien Jr. (Jackie) of Bathurst, Nancy Frenette (John) of Big River, Natalie Frenette of Moncton and Roger (Jessica) of Dieppe.
Six grandchildren: Melanie, Brandon, Jordon, Chelsey, Nicholas and Mia.
Five sisters: Marie-Mai (late Gerard Duguay), Anita (late Hector Allard), Rita (Yvon DeGrâce), Julia (Gilbert DeGrâce), Claudia (André Roy).
Two brothers: Edmond (Georgine) and Richard (Arnolda).
He was predeceased by two sisters: Patricia and Sylvia; one adopted brother, Gérard Hébert.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 1 pm until time of funeral at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), St. George St, Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 2 pm from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Lucien may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
