Allardville – Mrs. Yvette Plourde, of Saint-Sauveur, wife of Bertin Plourdes, passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Allardville, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Ida (Gionet) Guignard.

Besides her spouse, she is survived by a daughter, Pauline (David Smith) of Pickering, ON and a grandson, Matthew whom she was a proud "mémère".  

Five brothers and three sisters: Raymond (Shirley) of Sudbury, Patrick (Carole) of Saint-Sauveur, Claude, Gilles (Carmelle), Alvin (Marie-Claire), Gisèle (Kenneth Glazier) and Edna Guignard all of Allardville and Claudine (Alcide Paulin) of Bathurst.

Several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and a former sister-in-law, Augustine «Tina» Savoie.  Godmother to Edna, Diane, Reno and the late Roland.

Besides her parents, Yvette has gone rejoin her two children Doreen (1994) and Danny (2008).

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 11, 2017 at 4 p.m. from Christ the King Church, Allardville.  Donations in memory of Yvette may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com).
