Hazen Dickson, husband of the late Viola (LaPointe) Dickson, of Salmon Beach, passed away on Monday March 12, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 87.

Born in Dalhousie Junction, he was the son of the late Jonathan and Hilda (Roberts) Dickson.

He is survived by 2 Daughters: Vicky Russell (Ronnie) of Janeville, Alta Stever (Jim) of British Columbia.

One son, Rick Dickson of Alberta.

Eight grandchildren: Todd Dempsey, Joey Dempsey, Stephanie Dempsey MacIntosh (Kurt), Melinda Stever, Shannon Stever, Jack Dickson, Ashley Russell, Katie Russell and four great-grandchildren.

One sister, Nancy Dickson of Hartland.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins.  A special aunt & uncle, Harvey and Hazel Caie.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Judith Dempsey, one brother, Garnet and step-mother, Alta (Caie) Dickson.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Residence Boudreau and the staff at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the care Hazen received.

The body will rest Tuesday, March 20th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel.  Donations in memory of Hazen may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
