Bathurst - Charles Arseneau, 54, of Vanier Boulevard, Bathurst, passed away on Monday April 23, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Lucien and Berthilde (Chiasson) Arseneau.

Charles was employed with the Best Western Hotel in Bathurst.

Besides his wife, Joanne (Roy) Arseneau, he is survived by two daughters: Sophie Arseneau and Tania Arseneau both of Bathurst.

Three grandchildren: Nathan, Charlie and Anthony.

Four sisters:  Jocelyne Gauthier and Nicole Roy (Yvon LeBlanc), of Bathurst, Thérèse Arseneau (Marcel Tessier) of East Angus, Que. and Aline LaPlante (Donald) of Madran.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Lucienne.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Charles may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
