Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Mrs. Aline Denis, 82, wife of the late Florian Denis, of Chaleur St., Bathurst, which occurred Friday November 30, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Inkerman, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Bertha (Arseneau) Losier.
She is survived by three sons: Kevin Lavigne (Lynn) and Lloyd Lavigne (Donna) both of Bathurst and Stephen Lavigne (Ray) of Vancouver, BC. Daughter-in-law, Sandra Fournier of Bathurst.
Four grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Tyler, Bradley, Chad and Chelsey.
Eight brothers: Edgar, Albénie, Valmond, Ernest, Arthur, Edmond, Léo and Gilles.
Four sisters: Lauza, Jeannette, Claudia and Anne Marie.
Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by three brothers: Francis, Gérard and Hédard.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of 4th West and Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the excellent quality of care given during her stay.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 12 noon Thursday December 6, 2018 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst, from where the Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. (www.elhatton.com)
