Bathurst- It is with great sadness that the family of Beverly Daigle "the fudge lady" announce her sudden passing at her home in North Tetagouche on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the age of 69.
Born in Toronto, ON she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Alexandra Arseneau and step-daughter to the late Josephine Furlotte.
She has left behind a loving husband of over 50 years Reginald and two loving daughters Carol Daigle of Ottawa and Vicki-Lynne Allain (Marcel) of Amherst and her pet dog Sookie.
Two brothers Edwin Arseneau (Rachel) of North Tetagouche and Barry Veniot (late Joyce) of South Tetagouche.
Two sisters Sandra (Albanie) Godin and Linda (Sylvio) Doucet both of Bathurst, and a step-sister Linda "Lou" (Henry) Dunnett of Moncton.
She was predeceased by a sister Debbie.
Beverly worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on the house keeping staff for several years and had retired 5 years ago. This is where she got her nickname fudge lady after making many, many pans of fudge for the employees.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7th, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Beverly may be made to the Bathurst SPCA, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
