Bathurst – Roger "Falloune" Savoie,74, of Bathurst, passed away, surrounded by the love of his wife and family, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, on Wednesday February 27, 2019.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Lucien and Alfreda (White) Savoie.

Besides his wife, Denise (Daigle) Savoie, he is survived by two daughters: Huguette Landry (Marcel) of Beresford, Carole Savoie (André Boisvert) of Lévis, QC and one son, Serge of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren: Marc André, Stéphanie, Casandra, Marie-Eve, Alexandra, Marcia and Ryan; six great-grandchildren: Kaden, Charlotte, Jacob, Jordan, Harrison and Jaden.

Five sisters: Jocelyne David (late Alfred) of Big River, Denise Benoit (Lucien), Gisèle Ross (Paul) and Debbie Savoie, all of Bathurst, Monique Frenette (Jean Paul) of Robertville.

Three brothers: Raymond (Fernande), Gilles both of Bathurst and Daniel (Lisa) of Robertville. One half sister, Linda Harrigan of Miramichi.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Michel, a sister Claudette and two brothers: Robert and Jean-Claude.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Roger may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
