It is with great sadness the family of Peter Young of Twin Lane, Bathurst announce his passing on Sunday, March 10th, 2019 which occurred unexpectedly at his residence at the age of 87.
Born in Red Pine, he was the son of the late Gérald and Grace (Boucher) Young.
He is survived by his four children: Verda Young and Gail Young both of Toronto, ON, Daniel Young (Suzanne) of Pointe-Verte, NB, and Gary Young (Melinda) of Shedden, ON.
Five grandchildren: Lindsay, Fallon, Leah, Olivia and Allison; six great-grandchildren: Elaysha, Alyssa, Tyson, Kaylie, Mason and Ellie.
Six sisters: Valerie, Paulette, Anna, Rita, Edith, Pearl and a brother Kenneth.
Many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Ben, Charlie, Françoise, Alice, Julie, Jack and Joyce.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Thursday, March 14th from 2-4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, March 15th at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Avenue.
