Petit-Rocher - It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Richard Wilcox, of Petit-Rocher, which occurred Tuesday March 19, 2019, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 71.
Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Keith and Kathryn (Gorham) Wilcox.
He is survived by two sons: Darren (Céline) of Nigadoo and Nathaniel (Michelle) of Petit-Rocher.
Three grandchildren: Jeffrey, Tiffany, Noémie and one great-grandson, Dylan.
The mother of his children, Estelle Basque of Petit-Rocher.
One brother, Alan Wilcox of Bathurst.
Two sisters: Patricia Good (Gary Smith) of Woodstock and Carol Wilcox (Julie McKinney) of Bathurst.
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Brian and a brother, David.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25th, 2019 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton funeral home chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
