Bathurst - Alban Godin, 98, formerly of St. Mary's Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Paquetville, he was the son of the late Richard and Virginie (Cormier) Godin.

He was retired from the former Stone Consolidated Paper Mill.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Evelyn (Doucet) Godin.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He is survived by his son: Rhéal (Rejeanne) of Bathurst.

Three daughters: Angela Léger (Michel) of Bathurst, Adelma Godin (Gilles) of Beresford and Jeanne Boudreau (Donald) of Balmoral.

12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one son Gerald, brothers and sisters: Patrick, Izella, Alfred, Délima, Léandre, Yvonne, Gérard, George, Dora and Jeanne.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Bathurst. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday June 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
