Jeannette Young, formerly of Dumeresq St., Bathurst passed away Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes, at the age of 87.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Mary Ann (Lavigne) Young.

She was the last living member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by seven brothers: Adrian, Vernon, Allen, Ora, Martin, Ralph, Doran and two sisters: Geraldine and Pearl.

Jeannette worked most of her life in Quebec.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 8th, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel. (www.elhatton.com).

Donations in memory of Jeannette may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
