It is with great sadness that we the family, announces the passing of Brian DeCandido, of Bathurst, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on March 5, 2020, at the age of 56.

Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Claudette Doucet and Sergio DeCandido, both of Bathurst, NB. 

He worked for over 32 years for the City of Bathurst. Brian was also a dedicated member of the Kinsmen Club of Bathurst for over 17 years, and could regularly be found at weekend bingo functions. 

Besides his loving wife, Lynn Costello and his parents of Bathurst, he is survived by his stepchildren: Meghan Hachey of Moncton and Marshall Hachey of Bathurst.  

His three loving sisters: Barbara DeCandido of Bathurst, Lucy Shorey (Winston) of Vancouver, and Brenda DeCandido of Ottawa, ON. 

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Tuesday March 10, 2020 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, from where a memorial service will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
