Bathurst - Cletus Arseneau, 87, formerly of Rough Waters Road, Rough Waters, passed away on Thursday March 19, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Frances (Christie) Arseneau.
He was a retired salesperson at Hatheway Ford where he had worked for over 24 years.
Besides his wife, Marie (Boucher) Arseneau, he is survived by two sons: Donald (Elizabeth) of South Tetagouche and Glenn (Catherine) of Gloucester Junction.
Two grandsons: Dominic (Marsha)of Moncton and Mathieu (Nathalie) of Bathurst.
Two great grandchildren: Mariane and Félix of Bathurst.
One brother, James Arseneau (Anita) of Toronto, ON.
Three sisters: Betty Hall of Riverview, NB, Regina Calnan of Bathurst NB, and Angie MacIntosh of Calgary, AB.
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by brothers: Aurèle, Rennie, Leandre and Eric; by sisters, Rita, Evelyn and Leona.
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Sacred Heart Cathedral at a date and time to be announced.
