Gloucester Junction, NB – It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the death of Kenneth Lavigne, 84, of Gloucester Junction, which occurred on Friday March 27, 2020, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Celina (Roy) Lavigne.

Besides his loving wife, Greta (Russell) Lavigne, he was a devoted father to Richard Lavigne (Shannon Cornell) of Regina SK, Maryanne Lavigne of Calgary, AB and Paula Lavigne (Lance Markiewicz) of Hamilton, ON.

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

One sister, Maurita Chiasson of Boston, MA, USA.

A sister-in-law, Sylvia Lavigne.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday August 20th, 2021 at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral. Donations in memory of Kenneth may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
