Bathurst – Mrs. Frances Wasney, 94, wife of the late Harry Wasney, formerly of St. John St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday May 3, 2020, at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mathilda (Hachey) Vienneau. 

She is survived by: one son, Thomas Wasney of Bathurst and one daughter, Ann Adams of Cannifton, ON.

One grandson, Steven Foley

Three great-grandchildren:Beau, Ella, Paige.

One sister, Gladys Vienneau of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.               

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Laurie and two grandchildren: William and Kelly; 4 brothers: Arnold, Alymer, Ernest, Harold, and one sister, Berthile

Funeral arrangements are in care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), in Bathurst N.B. Due to the existing pandemic, a service will be held at a date to be announced. Donations in memory of Frances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
