With celebration of a life well lived, we announce the passing, Mike Hachey of Big River, which occurred on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 69.

Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Leon and Elise (Gauvin) Hachey.

Mike was a great cook and loved spending time outdoors, fishing, gardening and woodworking. He will be missed by his loving wife Clora Hachey and daughter Ange (Brad) Hill of Fredericton.

Two grandchildren; Samuel and Nelly Bea Hill.

Two brothers; Leonard (Florence) Hachey of Bathurst and Omer (Claudine) Hachey of Nigadoo.

One sister; Micheline Hachey of Bathurst.

One niece; Lise Gravestock of Bathurst.

A private family memorial service will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Alzheimer society of New Brunswick.
