Thérèse Roy Levesque of Bathurst passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 78.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Benoit F. Roy and the late Murielle Lavigne.

She is survived by a special friend, Maurice Chiasson of Bathurst.

She is also survived by two brothers: Gilbert and Benoit Jr. and a sister, Dorothy Yvonne all of Montréal, Québec.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul-Émile Levesque and a sister, Barbara Anne Roy.

She worked for numerous years at the Montreal Airport and was considered one of the finest waitresses of her time. Upon moving to Bathurst, she worked at the former Continental Restaurant on Main Street and as a custodian for many years. She enjoyed fishing with her friend Maurice at Youghall Beach.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home due to the current pandemic. A private funeral service will be held.
