Louis Tracy Knowles of Heatherton, Antigonish County, NS passed away suddenly at the age of 65, on October 18, 2020.

Born in Bathurst, NB Louis was the son of Elizabeth (Schriver) Knowles and the late Lane Knowles . Louis was predeceased by his father in 1998, and the love of his life, Edna Smith in 2019.

Louis worked as a “trucker” for over 40 years, taking him across North America. His career included a period of time dispatching his fellow truckers along life’s highway. Louis was a mentor and a friend to many.

He leaves behind his Mother, Elizabeth Knowles of Fredericton; a brother Wallace (Dale) Knowles of Bathurst, NB; a sister Lorna (Randy) Mansfield of Fredericton, NB, nieces Jennifer and Chancey, nephews Andrew and Taylor, and countless numbers of cousins and friends. Louis will be sadly missed by the Knowles family and by his extended Smith family in Nova Scotia.

Arrangements are entrusted to Elhatton’s Funeral Home in Bathurst, NB. There will be no visitation due to Covid-19 restrictions. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
