Chamberlain Settlement, NB – Ernest Chamberlain, 81, formerly of Chamberlain Settlement, passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2020, at the Edith B. Pinet Nursing Home in Paquetville.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Mabel (Chamberlain) Chamberlain. 

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Delina (Henry) Chamberlain and is survived by four children: Marie Rose Mailloux (Michel) of Village Blanchard, Ernest Jr. (Julie Cormier) of Rochville, Guy of Notre Dame-des-Erables and Annette Gionet (Robert) of Chamberlain Settlement. 

Nine grandchildren: Marc, Jimmy, Jaycob, Brittany, Estelle, Arianne, Ryan, Randy and Brandon. 

Three sisters:  Agatha Chamberlain of Bathurst, Kathleen LeBouthillier (Aldéo) of Allardville and Marie Ange Couture of Toronto, ON.  Several nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by three brothers: Valmond, Richard and Leo and one sister, Rita. 

The family will receive family and friends for a public visitation on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) from 2 to 3:30 p.m. A private funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
