Petit-Rocher, NB - Kalman Domotor, 89, of Petit-Rocher, NB and formerly of Brantford, ON, passed away at his residence on Tuesday October 27, 2020.
Born in Hungary, he was the son of the late Ferenc Domotor and Anna Szakall.
He worked in construction as a painter for most of his life.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Marie (Harsanyi) Domotor and his second wife, Angelina (Savoie) Domotor.
Kalman is survived by six children: Anna Domotor (Maurice Pelletier) of Petit-Rocher, Elisabeth Grant and (AJ) Patricia Legacy (Jim) both of Brantford, ON, Patrice Savoie of Vancouver, BC, Jean Paul Marcoux (Linda) of Kurkzville and Gilbert Marcoux (Paula) of Hamilton, ON.
Eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Several niece and nephews from Hungary.
It is with a distinction of honor that the Domotor family would like to recognize and thank Anne Perron, Kalman’s homecare worker for the past one and a half years. Our father loved her and lite up as she would always say “good morning Sunshine”.
Words are not enough for the gratitude we hold for your time spent with our father.
Besides his spouses, he was pre-deceased by his son, Alex, his parents and nine siblings.
The family wishes to also sincerely thank Dr. Jean Pierre Arseneau and his team, the Extra Mural Program, Ambulance NB and the staff of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the excellent care given to their father.
Funeral service will be held in Brantford, ON at a later date. Donations in memory of Kalman may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
