Bathurst – Mrs. Evangeline Roy, 81, wife of the late Médore Roy, of Bathurst and formerly of Middle River, passed away on Saturday December 5, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Exilda (Vienneau) Roy. 

Evangeline was the last surviving member of her immediate family and she will be sadly missed by her children; two sons: Roger Roy and Daniel Roy (Samantha Russell) both of Bathurst and one daughter: Denise Roy (Jean-Marc Doucet) of Sormany. 

Five grandchildren, Natasha, Jessie, Tyler, Emma and Kevin. 

Several nieces, nephews and friends. 

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Due to Covid restrictions, a funeral mass by invitation only will be celebrated from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Evangeline may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
