The Wesenberg family is sadly announcing the passing of our brother, Henrik Ernst Wesenberg , on November 02, 2020, at his home in Abbotsford BC.

Born in Bathurst in 1953, he was the third son of Henrik and Anna (Hennessy) Wesenberg. He was known affectionately as Henny from childhood, to his parents, siblings, cousins and friends. He attended Holy Family School in West Bathurst, graduated from Bathurst High School, attended RMC Kingston, and went on to a career in the health care service.

Henny is survived by his brothers Bobby (Carolyn), Fredrik (Jeanine), Thomas (Carole) and sister Halldis (Del); his nieces Tara, Amy, Celine; nephew Clay; grand-niece Anniston; and grand-nephew Brenly; as well as many cousins across Canada and in Norway.

Also mourning his passing is his loving West Coast family: Diane, Michael, Jill, Eryx, Alex, Zetta and Norah.

He was pre-deceased by his parents – father Henrik in 1975, mother Anna in 2013, and younger brother Harald George in 1984.

At the time of his death, he was employed by Fraser Valley Home Support in Abbotsford, BC, as a health care worker.

Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of Henny`s life will be held at a date to be announced.
