It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their mother, Précilla Aubé, 82, of Miramichi Ave, wife of the late Wilfred Aubé, who passed away on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hectorine (Doucet) Lavigne.

She is survived by her five children: Jacqueline Aubie of Drummondville, Qc, Donald Aubie (Betty Daigle) and Shirley Aubé both of Bathurst, Richard Aubé of Ottawa, ON and Denis Aubé (Ginette) of Sainte-Rosette.

Seven grandchildren: Shelly, Angie, David, Tanya, Stéphanie, Isabelle, Calleigh and six great-grandchildren.

Six sisters: Evelyne Clouthier (Michael) of Saint John, Regina Benette, Angélie Doucet, Murielle Pitre (Herman) and Léona Doucet (Roger) all of Bathurst and Jeannine Boudreau of Beresford.

Three brothers: Hector Lavigne (Odila) of Dunlop, Émile Lavigne (Francine) of Pointe-Verte and Rhéal Lavigne (Louise) of South Tetagouche.

Sister-in-law, Diane Lavigne of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Daniel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, March 5, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The visitation will be open to the public with social distancing measures in effect. Funeral mass by invitation only will be celebrated on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Donations in memory of Précilla may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
