It is with heavy hearts that the family would like to announce the death of Ricky Godin, of Bathurst, which occurred on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the age of 26.

Born in Petit-Rocher, he was the son of Lise Doucet of Petit-Rocher and the late Patrice Godin.

He leaves behind one brother, Patrick Godin and one sister, Terra Lavigne (Remi) both of Bathurst.

His maternal grandmother, Rita Doucet and one nephew, Jayden Cole.

One Godchild, Mia Alexandra Smith. As well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Alvin Doucet, and paternal grandparents Yvette and Clifford Godin.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A small private family service will be held on Friday June 25, 2021 from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Ricky may be made to the Mental Health Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
