It is with great sadness the family of Donald Francis Carroll, 77, of Bathurst announce his passing on Thursday June 24th,2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family at his side.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Gerald and Edna (Black Jackson) Carroll.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Olga (Dimitroff) Carroll.

Three children: Ryan (Kelly) of Grand Prairie, AB, Pierre (Claudette) of Jacquet River and Natasha of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by three sisters: Paula (Victor) Guignard of Bathurst, Judy (Roger) Lavigne of Shediac and Pat (Melvin) Lavigne of Kamloops, BC as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Bernie.

He loved Bluegrass festivals and all types of music.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held on Friday July 2nd by invitation only from Elhatton’s Funeral Home chapel (www.elhatton.com).

Donations in memory of Donald may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
