1932 – 2021

It is with great sadness, that we the family announce the passing of Mrs. Marie-Anne « Marion » LeBlanc, wife of the late Emery LeBlanc, of Chaleur St., Bathurst, which occurred on Monday August 30, 2021, with her family by her side at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 89.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Brigitte (Daigle) Blanchard.

She is survived by two children:

Michel LeBlanc of Ontario and

Laura Baisley (Randy)of Elmsdale, NS

Also survived by her sisters: Theresa Blanchard, Argentine Thériault and Mary Christoff.

A special niece, Diane Roy; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a son Robert,  brother, John; sisters: Louise and Delia.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Marie-Anne may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
