Bathurst - Jacques Marion, of Vantassell St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday September 26, 2021, at the age of 70.

Born in Fort-Coulonge, QC, he was the son of the late Oswald and Jacqueline (Romain) Marion.

Jacques was a retired employee of Federal Government.

Besides his wife, Margaret (Boire) Marion, he is survived by four children: Madeleine Marion (Sylvain Bossé) and Rachelle Marion (Stephane Lagacé) both of Bathurst, Chantale Marion (Marc Chiasson) and Patrick Marion both of Moncton.

Four grandchildren: Alexa, Katherine, Alexandre and Chloé.

One brother, Marcel Marion (Marie-Paule) of Fort-Coulonge, QC.

Four sisters: Suzanne Marion, Martine Marion (Rhéal Laroche) and Marie Marion (Kenny Hobbs) all of Fort-Coulonge, QC and Pierrette Marion of Aylmer, QC.

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Donations in memory of Jacques may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
