It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we the family, announce the passing of Norma Jean McLean, wife of David McLean (formerly of Fairway Court), which occurred on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst NB, at the age of 77.

Born in Toronto, ON, she was the daughter of the late Florence Comeau and late Alex Arseneau.

Norma co-owned and operated McLean’s Fish Shop in Bathurst NB for many years with her husband Dave, and later worked with their son Rick when he took over the family business. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Rick (Ann) of Bathurst and one granddaughter, Robyn.

Two sisters; Donna Lowe (Murray) of Calgary AB and Karen Turner (McLean) of Edmonton AB.

Several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Brenda.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday December 20, 2021, from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst NB (www.elhatton.com). Proof of vaccinations and ID are required.

Donations in memory of Norma may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
