It is with great sadness the family of Léona Landry wife of the late Emmanuel Landry, formerly of South Bathurst announce her passing which occurred Sunday, December 19th, 2021 at the Villa Sormany in Robertville at the age of 93.

Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Duguay and Domithilde Christie.

She is survived by four sons: Gerard Landry (Simonne Pitre), Walter Landry (Lise Roy), Ronald Landry all of Bathurst and Lionel Landry (Melita) of Rio Grande.

Seven daughters: Marie Caton (John) of Vancouver, BC, .Annette David (Paul) of Big River, Claudette Blanchard (Raymond) of Sainte- Anne, Theresa Roy, Jeannette Landry (Joe Pelletier) and Yvonne Chiasson all of Bathurst and Bertha Landry (Stephane Herbert) of Fort McMurray, AB.

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Léona was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Mariette Landry, son-in-law, Marc Chiasson and many brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Villa Sormany for the loving care.
