It is with great sadness the family of Armand Daigle of St. Luke Court, Bathurst announces his passing which occurred on Tuesday March 29th, 2022 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 75.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Dennis and Marguerite (Glazier) Daigle.

Armand proudly served 34 years with the Bathurst Fire Department. He loved life and smiled through whatever obstacles were thrown his way.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris (Boudreau) Daigle, his daughter, Lise Daigle (David Aube) and his son, Marcel Daigle (Cherie Smith) both of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Emma and Tyler.

Sisters-in-law: Judy Daigle and Hélène Daigle both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers: Cletus and Clifford and a sister, Lynn Hachey.

A graveside service will be held Monday June 27th, 2022 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral Cemetery, South Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Armand may be made to the Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com).
