Salmon Beach, NB - Janick Larouche, 86, passed away on April 2, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Saint-Nazaire, in the Lac-St-Jean area of Québec, she was the daughter of the late Eugène Larouche and Laura Bilodeau.
She leaves two sons: Pierre Zundel (Karin Zundel) and Hans Zundel (Diane Schuldt-Zundel); four grandchildren: Trudi, Nicholas, Eric and Emma and three brothers: Jean-Marc, Pierre and Yvan.
She was for many decades a caregiver to her mother and her sister, the late Lucie Larouche. She worked for Bell Canada in Alma, Hallmark Cards in Toronto and 3M in both Toronto and Montréal. She was a volunteer for the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Society in Alma for many years. She loved to see her family, travelling the country from East to West and South to Florida. She pursued her passion for reading and bird watching up until her last days.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in honour of her memory can be made to the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Society in Alma, Quebec, would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home in Bathurst. www.elhatton.com
