The death of Daniel Pitre of South Tetagouche occurred on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst at the age of 59.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Aloysius (Allie) and Stella (Pitre) Pitre.

Daniel’s passion in life was always helping others and most of all his son, Freddie, whom he adored.

Besides his son, he is survived by his siblings: Bruno (Diane) St. Basile, NB, Gilles and Sylvie (Jerry) Lavigne of South Tetagouche, Colette (Danny) Pitre of St. Anne and Jocelyne (Dennis) Lavigne of Bathurst. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Fernand and Jean-Guy and an infant sister, Mary.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held. Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to the Bathurst S.P.C.A.
