Bathurst – Émilien Bérubé, formerly of Coffyn Cres., passed away on July 9, 2022, at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 82.

Born in Saint-Luc-de-Matane, he was the son of the late Antoine and Yvonne (Thibault) Bérubé.

Besides his wife, Nancy (Boucher) Bérubé, he is survived by one son, Darryl of Bathurst.

His sisters:  Lucianne Bérubé (Jean-Guy Truchon) of Matane, QC, Gaétane Bérubé (Réjean Michaud) of Baie-Comeau, QC.

Brothers: Cyril (Lorraine) of Bathurst, Rénald of Matane, QC and Pierre-Paul of Saint-René, QC

Many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings: Lumina, Ghislaine, Julienne, Relia, Rosaire, Adrien, Julien, Clarence, Régis, Jeanne-Aimée.

Émilien worked all his life in the family business of Bérubé Drilling. He always enjoyed his time at his camp.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Friday July 15th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Émilien may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
