It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Emélia (Couture) Mazerolle, wife of the late Robert Mazerolle of Bathurst, formerly of Allardville, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the age of 68.

Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Alexis Couture and Yvonne St-Pierre.

Emélia is survived by her son, whom she loved “as big as the sky”, Jean- Yves (Marie-Line) of Bathurst and her grand daughter, Maya.

Her brother Denis Couture (Anne Marie Lanteigne) of Edmonton, AB, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, her dear friends Mariette, Pierrette and Diane as well as her friends from Tim Hortons.

She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lorraine Thériault, four sisters-in-law: Huguette (Delphis), Johanne (Benoit), Yvonne, and Pauline (Mario) and two brothers-in-law: Michel (Eveline) and Jacques (Rose-Marie).

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Marcel.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private committal service will be held at Christ Roi Cemetery in Allardville at a later date.

Donations in memory of Emélia may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
